It’s Hard It’s Tough, isn’t it?. What Do You Do?
“Giving up in a challenging situation is one way to prove cowardness“ - Samuel Olumuyiwa
_____
I think you must have heard of the story of Joseph (the dreamer) who became a chief administrator in a foreign land.
_____
Just in case you have no clue, I'll narrate it to you.
Joseph was a young gifted fella and was the eleventh child of his father and the first of his mother.
He had a dream someday. He dreamt that he was great that his siblings and even the stars and moon bowed before him.
_____
Narrating his dream to his brothers prompted his brother's jealousy to grow into action that they sold him to slavery.
_____
To cut the long story short, he became the chief servant in the household where he served as a slave in a foreign land.
Just for his stature and handsomeness, his master's wife gained interest in him so that she wanted him to lay with her.
Which he refused!
_____
His refusal led him to prison.
From prison, he was referred to interpret the king's dream.
In the end, He became the chief administrator in that land.
_____
I bet the end must have been interesting.
And you might be thrilled to say “ victory at last “.
But did you try to relate with the processes he went through from the moment he was thrown into a well to being sold to slavery in a foreign land.
Then from slavery to prison and from prison to become Chief Administrator.
_____
Do you know if he actually gave up in the process, he wouldn’t have had a chance to live that dream even though he dreamt it.
_____
I decided to use this story as a reference case just for you to have a clue about the tense road you’ll have to walk through come rain come sun before you can become celebrated.
